5 Differences - Camel Hair and Polar Fleece

NATURAL VS SYNTHETIC MATERIAL

NaturalSynthetic

Camel Hug products are created from pure camel hair fibres; no artificial dyes or chemical solutions are added to our products.

Polar Fleece products are made from synthetic fibres which are artificially made; chemicals are included for production of fabric.

Natural fibres are environmental friendly; synthetic fibres are not.

TEMPERATURE REGULATING

thermostatic, temperature regulating

Camel Hair has a hollow space in the center of the fiber that acts as a vacuum, insulating cold or hot air depending on the temperature. The thermostatic qualities of camel hair  means you should never be too hot or too cold with camel hair fabric. Polar Fleece does not have the same regulating properties.

LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIAL

feather, lightweight, light

Camel Hug products provides warmth without bulkiness. Virtually all of our products are compact enough to be rolled up to fit in your pocket or a small bag. Try rolling Polar Fleece garments in your pocket...

MOISTURE-WICKING PROPERTIES

moisture-wicking

Camel Hair wicks perspiration away from the body so your sweat doesn’t stay on your clothes. Polar Fleece can absorb sweat and stay on your clothes, becoming moist and uncomfortable.

BREATHABLE

breathable

Camel Hug products allows air to pass through it, allowing for comfortable warmth all day long. The breathability allows people to enjoy warmth in colder conditions, without the stuffy feeling that can sometimes be felt by wearing Polar Fleece for long periods of time.
